Impact Activity Center
What do we do?
Impact Activity Center will help address the needs of Boonville and its surrounding communities. Activities will include:
Summer Food Program for kids out of school.
Introduction to basketball 4-6 year olds.
The Chill Zone with ping pong, pool, gamers, open gym.
Weekend tutoring
Life Skills program
Building rental for your special event
Our progress
Impact Activity Center is located at 1111 Rural Street in Boonville, Missouri in the historic Sumner School building.
To make the Center work, we immediately needed to repair the building's roof, clean the building thoroughly and remediate for mold, reopen the kitchen and dining room, and refloor the gymnasium.
The much-needed roof repair and mold remediation are now finished thanks to generous gifts from the people, businesses, and organizations of our community and matching funds from Freedom of Christ Ministries in Boonville.
In summer, 2024 we will be resuming renovations. Electrical work, plumbing, and window replacement are the next priorities.
This summer we have activities at Boonville Heritage Days in July, Emancipation Day Fish Fry in August, Community Fun Day in September, and Worship by the River in October
