Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a resource to address the needs of Boonville and its surrounding communities. Our goal is to offer activities, programs, events, and enhance partnerships with already functioning organizations. Our mission is accomplished through listening, programs, partnerships, and relationship building. Our hope is through these partnerships we will be able to serve the community more effectively.

Upcoming events for 2024
April through September - Basketball 101
We will be running Basketball 101 classes. This year we will use courts at Boonville's public schools. Next year when we have refurbished the gym floor at Sumner School we will hold Basketall 101 at Impact Activity Center.
August - Emancipation Proclamation Fish Dinners
Impact Activity Center will be Selling Fish Dinners on Aug. 5. Plates are $14....Fish, Baked Beans, Potato Salad and drink! Stop by and get yours!! Harley Park, Boonville, Mo. Shelter House #4, 1-5 pm.
October - Gospel Fest
Come to Impact Activity Center in October for Gospel Fest and see historic Sumner School while you are there.

Weekend Tutoring is now underway! Saturdays 8 am-12 pm (1 hour time slots)
Neighborhood Assist Program provides tax credits for Missouri businesses who donate! (thank you UMB, W-K, and Alliant Bank)

History
Built in 1939 as a WPA project, Sumner was the third school of its name in Boonville. It was the black school until it closed in 1959 after desegregation. Learn more...
